She later became an Ambassador for Le Cordon Bleu Institute New Zealand. Julie has cooked for prime ministers, ambassadors, and dignitaries in her own country, as well as in Italy, France, and the UK. She was chosen to be the personal chef for the late Maestro Luciano Pavarotti
